ABOUT AQUARIUS MOON
Aquarius Moon is an international award-winning performance artist, commercial model, and dance choreographer. Originally from Rockville, Maryland, this Somali-Nigerian American powerhouse has graced international stages, digital campaigns, and lifestyle television, with a two-year burlesque tour across the U.S. and Australia earning her the "Golden Goddess of Burlesque" title and a feature in the documentary JIG SHOW: Harlem in Havana. She currently reigns as Queen of Sin City Burlesque Festival and Imperial Monarch of Canada, and is ranked #6 most influential burlesque performer in the world.
Aquarius is the founder of Metro Cabaret Club and curator of Every(body) Wants to Be a Showgirl, a museum exhibition honoring the legacy of Black burlesque performers. Her creative direction credits include the creation of shows including The Cheeky Martini, Burlesque Underground, and Dance Place After Dark. When she is off stage, Aquarius co-owns the organic candle boutique Aroma Vibes Co. and the second hand consignment shop Showgirl Saloon.
